Self Tests

The self test below (STOP test) can help you determine if you may have SDB or sleep disordered breathing. Another self test called the Epworth Sleepiness Scale is also available on our Client Information Form. Talk to your physician about the Screening Program available at Pacific Sleep Care.

The STOP test consists of four questions:

Snoring

Do you snore loudly (louder than talking or loud enough to be heard through a closed door)?

Tired

Do you often feel tired, fatigued, or sleepy during the day?

Observed

Has anyone observed you stop breathing during your sleep?

Blood Pressure

Do you have or are you being treated for high blood pressure?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, you may be experiencing sleep apnea.
